Sweet as it may sound but this is something that many people try to avoid as much as possible. “Love handles” is a colloquial term for deposits of excess fat at the side of one’s waistline, abdominal area and back. Working through love handles won’t actually get rid of the fat but what it can do is strengthen the muscles under the fat.
Before working our way to a healthier and stronger life, it is always best to be conscious of our food intake. We should avoid sugars, salts and unhealthy fats. We should look for fresh fruits, vegetables, good fats and proteins instead. After considering the food, it is time to sweat it up.
Bicycle Crunch
Lay on the floor with your hands on the side of your ears then lift up your legs to a 90 degree angle. Bring your right knee to your chest and twist your left elbow to meet it. Bring your left knee to your chest and twist your right elbow to meet it. Do this repeatedly.
Plank Knee Drive
Bring your right knee up and try to touch your right elbow. Bring your left know up and try to touch it with the left elbow. Do this 10 to 15 times per leg.
Deadlift
Keep your legs apart and slightly bend your legs in a squat position. Lift your hands slowly then back to the sides while using kettleball or weights.
Cardio Vascular Exercises
Men and women alike should allot at least 20-45 minutes of activities like walking, biking, running and swimming four times a week.
